KION Baoli is a brand of forklift trucks that was founded in China in 2003 and acquired in 2009 by the KION Group, the European market leader and the world’s second largest manufacturer of warehouse technology.

Baoli EMEA is a new organisation, established in 2017.

Smith Power Equipment has taken over distribution since 2018.

The aim of KION Baoli is to satisfy the needs of customers who are seeking quality and reliability, but without having to have complex equipment. Offering a quality-price ratio which is extremely attractive thanks to components guaranteed by the KION Group combined with the pragmatism of machinery manufactured in the Far East.
The KION Baoli production facilities are located near Shanghai, covering a total area of 120.000 m2 and with more than 700 employees. The factory has modern painting and assembly lines and directly manufacturers the key components of its products.

Our Material Handling Solutions

We supply the following categories of forklifts; Electric, LPG and Diesel for the 2.5T and 3.5T market.

Pallet trucks are our specialty with our electric units of 1.2T to 1.6T lifts and the world first Lithium-Ion pallet lift of 1.2T which takes only 2.5 hours to charge with a 3 hour battery life.

We are leaders when it comes to stackers with our leading 1T and 1.6T stackers of up to 1200mm to 3500mm high.

KION Baoli is the first manufacturer of forklift trucks from the Far East that can count on a sound and well organised structure in Europe, the Middle East and Africa to carry out not merely market development, but also guarantee a high level of service.

One of the largest spare parts warehouses in Europe, direct training of all the support technicians and a distribution network set up throughout the territory are the elements which guarantee the quality of the KION Baoli support service.

KION Baoli can rely on a network of concessionaries who are all carefully selected to provide high levels of after-sales support in the individual countries. Baoli EMEA itself directly trains the maintenance personnel of all the dealers in order to guarantee the level of service.
In order to guarantee the immediate availability of spare parts throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa, KION Baoli has set up a warehouse in Europe which, with a specific area of more than 10,000 square meters, is currently one of the largest spare parts facilities in the whole of Europe.
